Rene Marie Russo (born Rene Marie Russo) is an American film actress, former supermodel and film maker. Alongside her stunning elegance, her continued successes in the film industry proves her skills as an actor. In the late 1970s the model began her career and quickly became one of the leading figures in this industry. She studied theatre and acting towards the beginning of the decade, before starring on stages at Los Angeles, and other areas of California. Russo's screen debut was in ABCs 1987 drama Sable In the show, she was Eden Kendell. In the following year, she played Tom Berengers lover in Major League. She was initially doubtful about her acting abilities but critics soon became impressed by her work. They particularly loved her performance in Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak in which she held herself against the likes that of Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. According to her, she never had a passion in acting. After a prolonged vacation, she self-imposed herself on herself to act in 2005. Her return was in Thor. Also, she was in her husband's Oscar award-winning film Nightcrawler. The Intern followed, as did Just Getting Started.

Rose Namajunas ranks among the top UFC female athletes. Her early days were spent as an amateur boxer who competed in regional promotions, before signing up with Invicta Fighting Championships. Then she joined in the Ultimate Fighting Championships. She has gained a lot of fame following her joining of the UFC due to both her on and off the octagon's success. Namajunas's family is Lithuanian and she was born on the 29th of June in 1992. Rose played sports like basketball and kickboxing while growing up. She made her debut as a professional when she was 18 in the Invicta Fighting Championships, where she was able to win two bouts by submission. Dana White noticed this and on December 14, 2014, at age 22, she signed her to fight as a strawweight in the UFC. Rose has experienced highs and lows in her career, yet she always emerges victorious. Rose was a fighter against Carla Esparza in April 2015 to win the Women's Strawweight Champion. The fight was won through a technical knockout, which occurred within three minutes in the initial round. It was the first ever female to fight in a title fight with any major organization worldwide. Namajunas had several successful fights after this win, which included defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk on two occasions. The win earned Namajunas Performance Of The Night accolades from UFC.
